Avant d’être un droit, se loger est une nécessité.

La nécessité étant considérée, se loger est aussi un art : façon d’être et façon d’agir.

Se loger, c’est habiter : manière d’être et être là.

Habiter son logement, c’est conjuguer dans l’espace socialisé l’intime et le social.

L’impossibilité pour beaucoup de se loger non seulement convenablement mais heureusement, engendre un manque, une frustration.

Apparaît alors la nécessité de mettre en oeuvre autrement les énergies disponibles.

Sont posés par cette charte les fondements d’une association de femmes et d’hommes qui se donneront par les moyens de la coopération, la possibilité d’imaginer, de réaliser, de gérer leur façon d’habiter.

Le rôle de l’Echo-habitants :

Faciliter les démarches citoyennes et assister le groupe d’habitants tout au long de son projet : structuration du groupe, animation de la dynamique collective, aide à la définition des besoins, etc …, aide au montage juridique et financier du projet, aide à la conception du programme, co- pilotage du projet, interface avec les partenaires, collectivités et professionnels.
